Jordan Hughes

I grew up in Spring, Texas (a town north of Houston) and I have always had a penchant for art. When I was young, I was obsessed with mermaids, and I carried by Ariel doll around everywhere. I ended up taking lots of art classes, going to college for fine art, and becoming a well rounded artist as an adult.

Now I do cheeky mermen pinup tattoos in Austin, and my life feels very full circle. I strive to be the best tattoo artist in Austin, and help more and more people experience the joy of having their vision come to life on their skin.

Apprenticeship

From childhood, to art school, to Apprenticeship, I officially began my tattooing journey in 2022 under the tutelage of Deidge Dunham at Allsaints Tattoo in Austin.

Studio

Now working out of a tattoo shop in South Austin, I love to create a relaxed, fun, and respectful environment at 444 Tattoo, and always strive to maintain a welcoming environment for queer tattoo lovers.
